In addition to its on-going education programs, the Sonoran Sea Aquarium is actively pursuing its goal of developing a permanent facility in the Tucson-metro area. It has developed extensive business plans and cost estimates for the project. An economic feasibility study of the project has been completed. Preliminary plans for a facility, including exhibits have been developed. A design/build/operate team has been put together, made up of companies with prior experience in successful aquaria in other parts of the United States. Becoming A Member Of The Help us "bring the sea to the desert" with your gift and membership in the Sonoran Sea Aquarium®. The Aquarium has already begun a successful education program and brought knowledge of the sea to over 115,000 Tucson area school children.
You can become a Founder's Club member with your gift of $1000 or more. You will receive a beautiful etched plaque with your name engraved on it and will be invited to all the upcoming special functions. Your tax-deductible gift of $50 or more entitles you to a beautiful commemorative poster in addition to our newsletter, "Seascapes" which will keep you up-to-date on the progress of the aquarium.
